Great meeting today with our Mega Intensive School and Worship Bible School leaders in Africa. This isn’t even all of our team. We have ~70 more coming from the US and other countries to help us lead these massive events in July in Kenya and Ethiopia. 15+ countries of church leaders will be attending and learning together. I love getting to know people and hearing their stories! Just today I talked with a man in the Atlanta airport who used to play for the Houston Oilers “back in the day.” He’s in his eighties and in a wheelchair now, traveling alone. He lives in Texas, and he’s going to visit his girlfriend in Alabama. They were “sweethearts” in the 8th grade…

To help people understand who we are at NLW International, we often start with who we are not. For example, we are not a music ministry. We are not a church-planting ministry. We’re not an evangelistic organization. We’re not an orphanage. While we love and support such ministries, we’re not really any of those things.
