Just sent off the first half of the manuscript for the main book to my editor! Hope to send the second half soon. There are 3 books total in the curriculum I’m writing. I have one written, one half-way done now, and one still to go–but we’re getting closer!

Was on the phone with @James last week while ordering at our local SB. The barista asked me, “Whats a good name?” So as a joke I told him, “James–thats a good name.” Dude thinks my name is James now. He didn’t even ask me today. He remembered and just put it on my drink. Guess the joke’s on me. 🙂

The last time, years ago, when we were at starbucks it was in Dubai airport (on a flight to our daughter in Australia). We desperately needed a coffee and we only found a SB. We had to wait a quarter of an hour to get it for an incredibly high prrice and it was hardly drikable. 🤢

Yay! I just finished the first draft of a new book I’m writing for students. A large US university has asked us to help form in their worship students a heart of worship, and this new book is one part of meeting their request. It’s a daunting assignment for sure, but oh what a privilege to do it. God is faithful!

Amazing time in Uganda!
Here are a few pics from our time in Uganda last week. We were mainly there to do a site-survey of the university and hotel where we will hold our Mega Intensive School and bring our (huge) mission team in July. But while in country, we also lead conferences and spoke at some really cool churches and events. @Donny and I have just arrived…

@Happy messaged us the other day looking for a song she’d heard at our Intensive School last year. She didn’t know the name of it or who wrote it, but months later she found herself still humming to the words, “Send me,” and she wanted to know the rest of it. Oh, is it so serious with you?
I think we should definitely pray but for the tech giants who influence the world with that stuff.
I use AI often but it’s necessary to be careful and we know the truth.
