Praise & Fitness 10 months agoI have been inspired to share my morning workout! I hurt my ankle at the beach, but don’t let body pain discourage you! I jumped into an upper body workout today! It felt GREAT!! This is 100 Morning Meltdown with Jericho McMatthews if you want to look it up. It doesn’t have a Biblical message like Revelation wellness, but it will get you sweating!

Hey gang, I went camping and hiking this weekend, and I’m tired to say I walked more than 20 miles. Kept my heart rate between 100 and 120 most of that time. Loved it!

I’m not practicing lent per se, but love the idea of elevating Jesus by denying ourselves in some way.

I am giving up movies for this week. I like to watch a movie or 2 before bed to help me get sleepy, but this week I am electing to read, spend time with family, etc..

Praise & Fitness 10 months agoFor accountability’s sake, here is what I commit to do during April:
- Walk 15-20 miles per week (3-4 times)
- Work out 3-4 times/week with free weights for strength training
- Push-ups and sit-ups 3-4 times/week
- Eat more chocolate (per @Jenn ‘s post on how good it is for us) 🙂

I normally do 40-50 push-ups and 50 sit ups at a time

When I had my goodbye Party, I made big Belgian wafers. As a topping on clotted cream I made a sauce of 2 parts of cream heated it and melted 1 part of dark chocolate in it. We kept the rest in the fridge and used it as spread on bread.
