About You (Optional)

I recently retired this past June from 34 years of teaching Automotive Technology/Repair to high school students in Ingham County.  I have been involved in music and church my whole life, starting in Junior Choir with my mom directing.  Later I learned to play piano and accompany our youth choirs.  We started a band in high school and writing our own songs.  We played for parties and at a few youth events.  I picked up guitar later in life and formed another band to play at church events.  In the late 90’s started playing with the church and have been involved in church worship teams ever since.  I continue to write songs and hope to be able to record and publish soon.  I was the worship leader for our local Celebrate Recovery for about 7 years until our church closed the program.  I now attend a different Celebrate Recovery program and lead worship for them 2x a month and play 2x a month with my church’s worship team on Sundays.  I have been married for 34 years and have two daughters, all who served with me at the first Celebrate Recovery. My wife helped lead the ministry and play percussion.  My youngest daughter sang with me and my oldest ran our tech.  I have been involved in small group and discipleship at different churches and started the NLW Coaching in 2018/2019 but was unable to finish due to some personal issues.  I am looking forward to this opportunity to finish this last segment and prepare for whatever the Lord has for me and my family in this next season, .
