Yesterday I had the pleasure of teaching some German high school students about true worship. They were a captive audience–some of the kindest and most focused teenagers I’ve been around. They were like sponges soaking up everything I taught them. They laughed (a lot); they asked great questions, and they filled in every blank on their note-taking sheets. Amazingly, the language barrier didn’t hinder us from having a great time together. First, we laid a foundation of prerequisites to true worship. Then, we talked about the 3 directions of biblical worship. I’ve taught multiple thousands and many large crowds this same material, but I haven’t enjoyed myself or been more fulfilled in teaching than I was yesterday with that small group of German youth. Thank you, Lord, for EVERY opportunity You give me to share my passion and mission of worshiping You.
