Yesterday our pastor said statistics have shown that we need to read God’s Word at least four times per week for it to make a radical difference in our lives. So, that got me to thinking…

His Word cleanses us — I need a bath everyday.

His Word feeds us — I need to eat everyday.

His Word guides us — I need direction everyday.

His Word shields us — I need protection everyday.

His Word corrects us — I need clarity everyday.

His Word instructs us — I need teaching everyday.

His Word brings joy — I could use some joy everyday.

His Word overcomes temptation — I’m tempted everyday.

His Word directs our worship — I need to worship Him everyday.

His Word reveals God to us — I need to know Him more each day.

His Word is a firm foundation — I need something trustworthy today.

His Word will never pass away — I need something lasting always.
