Something to ponder: our brain is the engine of our body. It responds as we have conditioned it to respond. Our mind is the driver of our body. We can control the way our brain works and how it responds by what we think about and what we focus on. For example, if we are stressed and continue to turn to foods to comfort us, our brain will tell…

So true! Great advice.

Mark your calendar for April 2nd at 10am Central for a fun, informal chat all about churches! Come share about your church experience, how your church is doing, what you have seen that is good and bad, and hear about how churches are doing around the world! This is a relaxed event, so feel free to come and go as you wish or are able!

The weekend is upon us again! What is one way you will stay active this weekend? I have a 5K Parkrun Saturday and also am planning some walks with the kids.
-
Thanks Jenn. We appreciate your example and commitment to help us be more healthy and fit. I am hoping to get 10 miles of walking in this weekend if my schedule in Zimbabwe allows.

Hello Everyone! We are meeting in the Coffeehouse now for our Spotlight chat with @Heiko !! Come along!!
-
Take time to make a goal for yourself this week. What is one thing you will do more of (or do less of)? Mine is going to be eating more vegetables and drinking more water!
-
My goal is to walk more in the next country than I had time to in the past two. I try to walk 15-20 miles per week when I’m at home, but my erratically full schedule on the road makes that goal much more elusive sometimes.

Inheritance is such a problem:
Did you know that diarrhoea is hereditary?
It runs into your jeans.

TODAY is our Member Spotlight with @Heiko !!! Don’t forget to pop into the Coffehouse for a chat at 11am Central!

I’ll be arriving into Harare at this time. @Tinny is picking me, so I don’t think she nor I will be able to make it today. @Don may be leading a conference today in Ethiopia, so he may also be unavailable. I am really sorry. Would love to have been at the coffeehouse meeting to hear more about cool things in Streams and of course to hear…

Some fun:
Use the hump
And the week‘s rump
To blow the trump
And make the week scrump
To a little stump
Avoiding the dump
And also the lump
And when you jump
Be careful of bump
With a loud crump
Don’t end as a chump
😉
