Summer heat can be intense, but don’t let it dim your light or your motivation to move your body for God’s glory! 🙌🏾 Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we honor Him when we take care of our health—body, mind, and spirit.
Here’s your loving reminder: you can stay active, healthy, and hydrated—even when it’s hot out!
💪🏾 WAYS TO KEEP MOVING (Yes, even when it’s sizzling outside!)

Early mornings or evenings: Beat the heat by walking, stretching, or dancing at sunrise or sunset. Praise walks are a beautiful way to worship while moving!

Indoor options: Try at-home workouts, drumstick praise fitness (you know we love it!), or join an online class with fellow worshipers.

Make it fun with family: Turn on worship music and have a mini dance party in your living room. Get those steps in and those spirits lifted!

Use what you have: March in place while folding laundry or do squats while brushing your teeth—every move matters!
💧HYDRATION = HOLY HABIT
Your body needs living water AND literal water! 💦

Keep a water bottle with you throughout the day—aim for 8+ cups, more if you’re sweating!

Add lemon, mint, or cucumber to make it refreshing and fun.

Set reminders to sip during the day—pair it with prayer time!
🥗 HEALTHY EATING IN THE HEAT

Choose water-rich foods like cucumbers, melons, oranges, and leafy greens.

Go for light, nourishing meals: grilled proteins, fresh veggies, smoothies made with frozen fruits.

Avoid sugary drinks—try iced herbal teas or fruit-infused water instead!
Let this season be a time of renewal—not burnout. Rest when needed, nourish your body, and stay rooted in Christ. As it says in Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles…”
