• Be ready for the Coffeehouse Member Spotlight with @Heiko in just TWO days (Wednesday the 19th)! Here is some more about Heiko in case you’ve missed it:

      1) Name: Heiko Nietzke
      2) Nickname: My daughter sometimes calls me Heikchen. The ending -chen is like -let in English. Sometimes my wife, too. But it‘s completly privat.
      3) Favorite Bible Verse: „And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.“

      ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬ ‭NIVUK‬‬

      4) How did you connect with Streams? I met Dwayne and James ( and some others in the conference for christian musicians in Lemgo, Germany) and got the hint about NLW and the streams thing.
      5) What’s your go-to karaoke song? I never sung karaoke.
      6) What do you believe about worship? Whorship is the answer to God‘s love.
      7) How are you connected to worship within your church? Two years ago, after a long break, I started playing electric bass again, mostly at special worship evenings before I retired. The young people have said that they are happy when I am there as an older person and I try to support them spiritually.
      8) If you could lead worship with any artist, who would it be?
      9) Do you have a pre-show ritual? Praying. Sometimes, a spiritual Input.

      10) What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received about worship leading? Praise begins at home. Praise God already during practices. Our Lord Jesus is the centre of praise and we serve the church and not ourselves. (This is actually a summary of important things I have learnt.)

      11) What’s your favorite worship song that most people wouldn’t know? CityAlight (Australia): He calls me friend or Lothar Kosse: O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden, Instrumental piece that screams out the pain of the cross with distorted electric guitar.
      12) If you could lead worship in a completely different setting (like a concert hall or a beach), where would it be and why? Dir ne there is no difference, if Jesus is there and the congregation is willing to worship.
      13) Anything fun you want us to know about you? I like dry jokes and puns. People around ne coll them Heiko-Witze (Heiko-Jokes)
