Maundy Thursday — Love That Serves

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
— John 13:34

On Maundy Thursday, Jesus shared the Last Supper with His disciples and washed their feet—an act of humility and servant-hearted love. Even knowing the suffering that lay ahead, He chose to serve.

Jesus showed us that true love is not just spoken; it is demonstrated through sacrifice, kindness, and humility. In a world that often values status and recognition, Jesus calls us to serve one another with compassion.

Today, look for simple ways to love like Jesus—offer forgiveness, extend patience, lend a helping hand, or speak words of encouragement. Small acts of service reflect His heart.

Jesus, thank You for showing me what love looks like through Your example. Teach me to serve others with humility and compassion. Help me to love as You have loved me.
