        Love your Body!

        With the theme of love this month, we need to remember that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we need to LOVE our bodies–take care of our bodies while not body shaming. Here is a great talk on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxQys8_CIPc

          Thanks Jenn! I think you would love the days in the Habits of Love emails that focus on loving God physically. For ex, here is an excerpt from Day 9…

          Loving God with your strength includes your body.

          Not as something to optimize or push harder — but as something to listen to and care for. Your body is not a barrier to love; it is one of the places love is practiced.

          Loving God with your strength includes how you care for your body and energy, and that includes “treating it as His temple.”

          Care is not weakness.

          It’s wisdom.

          Practice for today

          Notice one moment when your body asks for care — rest, movement, nourishment, or stillness.

          Respond gently.
