Favorite Bible Verse: 2 Cor 4:5 “For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.”

How did you connect with Streams? Discovered it through an internet search looking for a conference that would be encouraging to worship leaders but not break the bank. Found the Next Level Worship Website and saw the world wide praise session I believe that happened last summer?? And that lead me to the Streams community.

What’s your go-to karaoke song? I am not a fan of Karaoke, but if coerced to, I will sing “You Say” by Lisa Loeb or any classic Disney Song.

What do you believe about worship? Worship is life – it should encompass our daily lives – from serving, to singing, to praying, to digging into God’s word. It brings God glory. It shifts our focus from ourselves to God.

How are you connected to worship within your church? I am the worship leader at my church. I sing and play guitar. And also through service to others.

If you could lead worship with any artist, who would it be? We the Kingdom

Do you have a pre-show ritual? When I was younger I used to sing “I Love You Lord” before I sang in front of people to get my focus right and calm my nerves. Now I usually take time to pray for those who will be in attendance and have a moment of quiet to focus my thoughts on God.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received about worship leading? To Make an effort to connect to the people you are leading into worship. And Its not about the talent but the heart

What’s your favorite worship song that most people wouldn’t know? ”Hungry” by Kathryn Scott

If you could lead worship in a completely different setting (like a concert hall or a beach), where would it be and why? In a cave because the acoustics would be incredible not only that, I bet you could feel the music as it reverberated through the walls.

Anything fun you want us to know about you? I am addicted to baking with sourdough at the moment. I love adventure, roller coasters and waterparks. When I was a teen, I wanted to perform in water skiing shows.
