Meditating today on the famous revival that broke out in the middle of Acts 19. In fact, I may call today’s journaled devotional in Acts 19 “Great Awakening.” Interesting how the tipping point that sparked wide-spread revival wasn’t preaching or teaching or even miracles. It was a demonic outburst that almost cost some young men their lives. God used what was evil and harmful to bring about tremendous good. Isn’t that just like our God? I can’t help but think of the evil happening in our country and world today. Perhaps God will use it someone to awaken our hearts to His truth and love. I pray He does. Perhaps for the theme of Acts 19 in my journal, I will write: “Revival can come in unusual and unpredictable ways.” Yep, it certainly does and still can…
