The Listening Circle

A shared question for this season:

Where is God inviting your attention right now—especially in the midst of leadership noise, responsibility, or hurry?

The Lord God has given me
the tongue of those who are taught,
that I may know how to sustain with a word
him who is weary.
Morning by morning he awakens;
he awakens my ear
to hear as those who are taught.

Isaiah 50:4 ESV

A prayer for the Listening Circle:

God of gentle presence,
we come carrying more noise than we often realize—
voices, expectations, responsibilities, and demands
that shape our days and crowd our attention.

Teach us again how to listen.

Not only for answers,
but for Your nearness in the ordinary and the overlooked.
Help us notice where You are already drawing our attention,
even when we feel hurried, tired, or unsure how to slow down.

Quiet what does not need to be carried today.
Give us grace to release what is not ours to hold.
And form in us a deeper attentiveness
that does not depend on clarity, certainty, or control.

As we hold this question together,
remind us that listening does not have to be done alone.
You are here.
And we are accompanied.

In Your Name,

Amen.

About this Circle

This Circle exists as a quiet space of shared presence. Leaders gather here not to discuss or solve, but to hold a common question together over time.

You are welcome to read quietly, to name a thought or prayer when it feels right, or simply to return and remember that others are holding this question alongside you. There is no expectation to respond, no pace to keep, and no outcome to reach.

This Circle is meant to reduce isolation by reminding us that attentiveness does not have to be carried alone.

This is a seasonal Circle held within Streams. Participation is always optional, and presence takes many forms.
