There are 3 ranks within Streams:
1. Explorer
2. Mariner
3. Officer
Explorer Opportunities:
- When one creates an account and agrees to the 3 Questions, he or she is automatically at Explorer rank.
- Explorers can participate in the Flow Level (if applicable fee is paid).
- Apply for Mariner rank. (To become Mariners, Explorers should first demonstrate their commitment to personal growth and involvement in the community.)
Mariner Opportunities:
- Complete Mariners Training
- Edit and approve Worship Wiki articles
- Shepherd and help manage Explorers
- Aid Officers in the success of the community
- Sponsor Explorers to be Mariners
- Level up to Dive. (Only Mariners and Officers can access certain parts of the Dive Level.)
- You can apply for Mariners rank here.
Officer Opportunities:
- Complete Officer Training
- Interview and approve Mariners
- Shepherd and help manage Mariners
- Lead Mariners Training
- Aid Streams Captains in the success of the community
- Mariners can apply to be an Officer here
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- To be considered for Mariner rank, Explorers need to be sponsored by a Mariner.
- Explorers can complete a request form to apply for Mariner rank. Mariners are sent a list of Mariner candidates for them to pray over and consider sponsoring. Explorers can also directly approach a Mariner about sponsoring them.
- Sponsoring Explorers does not mean Mariners also pay fees for them.
- Mariners may apply for Officer rank once they have demonstrated their commitment to helping shepherd the community.
